The object of the game is to keep Dr. Who alive by moving him arround on the board. Here are the rules:
- There are three characters on the board:
- Dr. Who -- drawn as a green stick figure
- Daleks -- drawn as a blue "ghost" (a circle on top of a rectangle)
- Rocks -- drawn as a magenta object
- You control Dr. Who's movements:
- the qazxcdew keys cause Dr. Who to move one space in the indicated direction.
- s or space will cause Dr. Who to stand still
- 1 restarts the game
- 2 in hyperspatial jump (you can use this a limited number of times on each level
- 3 is sonic screwdriver. (you can use this a limited number of times on each level
- Daleks always move one space towards Dr. Who after Dr Who moves.
- Dr Who dies if a Dalek can touch him. A Dalek can touch Dr. Who is a Dalek is within 1 space of Dr. Who after he moves. Note that Daleks may be within 1 space of Dr. Who after the Daleks move and Dr. Who will remain alive.
- Daleks die if they run into a rock or each other.
- Daleks that run into each other create a rock.
- The object is toi cause all of the Daleks to die. If you succeed, then you advance a game level. At each level there are more Daleks and fewer rocks. However, you get more jumps and screwdrivers.
